The Mercedes-AMG® GT has become the unofficial face of AMG® vehicles, with its aggressive front grille and distinctive exterior colors like AMG® Green Hell Magno. The AMG® GT Coupe is available in four main versions: AMG® GT, AMG® GT S, AMG® GT C, and AMG® GT R. If you’re shopping for a Mercedes-Benz near Los Angeles that offers second-to-none power, the AMG® GT family is the place to start. Learn more about the Mercedes-Benz AMG® GT price points and trims below!
The two-person 2020 Mercedes-AMG® GT Coupe is the first available trim in the AMG® GT lineup with a starting MSRP of $115,900*. It’s powered by a handcrafted 4.0L AMG® V8 biturbo that outputs 469 hp and 465 lb-ft of torque. The engine is paired with a 7-speed AMG® SPEEDSHIFT® dual-clutch automatic. This model is the most fuel-efficient in the lineup, earning an EPA-estimated 16 mpg city/22 mpg highway rating. Feature highlights for the new AMG® GT include:
There’s also an AMG® GT 4-Door Coupe that’s available in three trim levels: AMG® GT 53, AMG® GT 63, and AMG® GT 63 S. Power ranges from 429 hp to 630 hp, and the AMG® GT 4-Door can accelerate in as little as 3.1 seconds. As you’d expect, the four-door coupes are more spacious and can seat four people. They’re ideal for drivers wanting a little more room than what’s available inside the two-door AMG® GT Coupe.
The 2020 AMG® GT S Coupe is a more powerful and more highly equipped version of the AMG® GT. It’s furnished with an upgraded version of the AMG® 4.0L AMG® V8 biturbo, which outputs 516 hp and 495 lb-ft of torque. Moving up to the AMG® GT S Coupe gets you KEYLESS GO®, an electronically controlled limited-slip differential, and a set of 19-inch front and 20-inch rear staggered wheels.
Starting at $150,900*, the 2020 AMG® GT C includes the AMG® GT S Coupe’s mechanical attributes while building on engine power. This model comes equipped with a 550-hp AMG® 4.0L AMG® V8 biturbo that outputs 502 lb-ft of torque. The AMG® GT C Coupe also gets a wider body for stronger and smoother cornering, as well as active rear-wheel steering that operates above 62 mph.
The 2020 AMG® GT R has a starting MSRP of $162,900*. Like it’s AMG® GT siblings, it’s also powered by a 4.0L AMG® V8 biturbo. It’s one of the lineup’s more powerful models, however, and produces 577 hp and 516 lb-ft of torque. It accelerates from 0 to 60 mph in 3.5 seconds and includes upgrades like manually adjustable coilover springs, a manually adjustable rear wing, and an active underbody fairing. One attribute to note about the AMG® GT R is that it doesn’t include some of the luxuries you’ll find on other AMG® GT Coupes, such as a garage-door opener, heated and power-folding side mirrors, and KEYLESS GO®. This is because the AMG® GT R is the high-performance trim and forgoes a few extras in favor of lighter weight.
The 2020 Mercedes-AMG® GT lineup is rich with powerful trims — each bringing something unique to the table.
